I build and restore traditional wooden boats to American, European, and Asian designs. I also loft boats, drawing them full-size on large format paper, for amateur boatbuilders. In addition, I have published five books about the boatbuilding traditions of Japan. I sell copies of my published work and teach workshops in woodworking and boatbuilding.
