About the Williams-Mystic Alumni Chandlery

We all know at least one of our Williams-Mystic classmates who is a maker, craftsman, lawyer, bed & breakfast owner, jeweler, etc. The Alumni Chandlery as a place where we can connect with one another commercially to generate new business and pledge some portion of the proceeds as donations to Williams-Mystic.

At the Alumni Chandlery you can post information about goods, services, experiences, and rentals you would like to offer to the alumni community along with your pledge to donate a portion of the revenue (any % you choose) from those purchases back to Williams-Mystic. You’ll have noticed that this website is password protected. Vendors each have their own page. You can submit your listing using the Google form linked below and email us if you need to edit or remove it.

This is an independent website set up by Williams-Mystic alumni for alumni and we are not an official part of the Williams-Mystic Program, Williams College, the Williams-Mystic Website, or the Williams-Mystic Alumni Council. We are not a marketplace, we are not handling payments, we are not handling donations, and we are not handling customer-service issues or complaints. Think of this as an experiment in community economic development and WM program fundraising. We are providing information to allow you to support fellow alumni and the WM program by purchasing goods and services; then, that business supports the program by donating a portion of the proceeds.

Please treat each other with the respect and kindness you all deserve, we recommend you copy your customers on your program donation receipts for transparency. We will assume you are all functioning adults and capable of behaving yourselves without community moderation. We reserve the right to remove a problematic listing or actually this entire site if necessary.
